What is an audiologist?

An audiologist is a doctor who diagnoses and treats disorders of the ear. Audiologists perform a variety or tasks relating to the outer, middle, and inner ear, including hearing and vestibular testing. Audiologists have extensive doctoral training, a 4 year program to learn the intricate level of care that is required when it comes to a person's hearing and balance.
