AUDIOGRAM
An Audiogram is a hearing test. It consists of several parts and takes about a half hour to complete. Everything will be explained before testing begins. First, you will sit in a sound-proof booth so that no outside noise will interrupt the test. Next, inserts will be placed in your ears. You will be asked to repeat words and respond to beeps. A bone oscillator will then be placed behind one ear for bone-conduction testing. Results will be reviewed at the completion of the test.

TYMPANOGRAM
A tympanogram is a quick and easy test where a probe is inserted into your ear to measure the ear drum's movement. This provides information about the status of the eardrum (tympanic membrane) and the middle ear. This test is painless and takes just a minute or two.
TINNITUS
Tinnitus is any form of ringing, hissing, or sound in the ear. There are many causes for tinnitus and it should be evaluated by a medical team. Unfortunately, there is no cure for tinnitus, but there are strategies to help cope. These include a masking sound either found in a hearing aid or running a fan or white noise machine to distract one's self. Commonly, tinnitus is caused by hearing loss. Studies have shown that about 50% of people report less bothersome tinnitus when wearing hearing aids.

EAR MOLDS
Ear impressionss are made to create a custom earmold. Earmolds can be used as ear protection, swim plugs, or for certain styles of hearing aids. If someone is a musician and wants to wear ear protection that won't affect the qualiy of the music, special musician ear protection can be made.
HEARING AIDS
Hearing aids are a big investment. That is why at our practice we have you try them out with no obligation to ensure you are happy before you buy. We do not even require an upfront payment for the aids. You will be fit with demo aids, shown how to use them, and have the ability to try them out in the comfort of your own home for two weeks. Hearing aids come in all different shapes and sizes. At our clinic, we work with each individual to fit their needs, lifestyle, and preferences. We also offer a subsidized program which you may qualify for.
OTOSCOPY
Otoscopy is when an instrument is used to take a look in the ear canal. This is often done before testing to ensure there is no wax or other particles in the ear.
